EMDR TheraTapper™ Plus EU

De EMDR TheraTapper™ Plus EU is speciaal ontwikkeld voor EMDR-behandelaren binnen de Europese Unie en ondersteunt je bij het optimaal toepassen van bilaterale stimulatie tijdens EMDR-sessies. Deze professionele tool biedt zowel tactiele als auditieve afwisselende links-rechts stimulatie en draagt bij aan een effectieve en comfortabele behandeling.

De TheraTapper™ Plus bestaat uit een gebruiksvriendelijk schakelkastje dat is verbonden met twee kleine, handzame pulsers. Deze pulsers worden vastgehouden door de cliënt en zijn aangesloten met draden van 1,8 meter, waardoor je op een comfortabele en hygiënische afstand kunt werken. De pulsers trillen afwisselend links en rechts en zijn eenvoudig instelbaar, zodat je de tactiele stimulatie nauwkeurig kunt afstemmen op de cliënt.

Daarnaast beschikt de TheraTapper™ Plus over instelbare auditieve stimulatie via goed hoorbare tonen die worden afgespeeld door de meegeleverde hoofdtelefoon. Ook deze hoofdtelefoon is voorzien van lange kabels, zodat zowel jij als de cliënt ontspannen en vrij kunnen zitten tijdens de sessie.

Flexibel en eenvoudig in te stellen

Alle vormen van stimulatie zijn tijdens de EMDR-sessie eenvoudig aan te passen en te variëren. Je kunt kiezen voor:

  • alleen tactiele stimulatie

  • alleen auditieve stimulatie

  • of een combinatie van beide

Hierbij is het belangrijk dat de links-rechts stimulatie synchroon blijft lopen. Dit stel je eenvoudig in via het schakelkastje. Naast het volume kun je ook de snelheid van de bilaterale stimulatie aanpassen. Uit onderzoek en praktijkervaring blijkt dat jongeren vaak baat hebben bij een snellere links-rechts stimulatie dan volwassenen.

Ook de pauze tussen de stimulaties is instelbaar. Door deze te verkorten of te verlengen kun je de stimulatie nauwkeurig afstemmen op wat de cliënt nodig heeft in het moment.

The EMDR TheraTapper™ Plus EU has been specifically developed for EMDR practitioners within the European Union. This professional device supports the optimal application of bilateral stimulation during EMDR therapy sessions and contributes to an effective, safe, and comfortable treatment process.

The TheraTapper™ Plus provides both tactile and auditory alternating left-right stimulation, allowing you to tailor each EMDR session precisely to the needs of your client.

The system consists of a user-friendly control unit connected to two small, hand-held pulsers via 1.8-meter cables, enabling therapist and client to maintain a comfortable and hygienic distance. The pulsers vibrate alternately and can be easily adjusted to deliver the desired level of tactile stimulation.

In addition, the TheraTapper™ Plus offers adjustable auditory stimulation through clearly audible tones played via the included headphones. These headphones are also equipped with long cables, ensuring freedom of movement and comfort for both therapist and client throughout the session.

Flexible and easy to adjust during sessions

All stimulation settings can be easily adjusted and varied during the EMDR session. You can choose to use:

  • tactile stimulation only

  • auditory stimulation only

  • or a combination of both

It is important that left-right stimulation remains synchronized, which can be easily set via the control unit. In addition to volume control, you can also adjust the speed of the bilateral stimulation. Research and clinical experience show that younger clients often benefit from faster left-right stimulation than adults.

Another valuable feature is the ability to adjust the pause between stimulation cycles. By shortening or lengthening these pauses, you can fine-tune the stimulation to match the client’s processing capacity in the moment.
